The Contents of Greg Ingersoll's Brain

This pic was taken along a hiking trail on Stockton Island in the Apostle Islands of Lake Superior on 15 September 2008. I’ve gone kayaking there the last few summers. Not Stockton specifically, but the Apostles in general.

I think the largely green hue and the straight-down perspective make this an interesting shot. This is currently my desktop background for my laptop.
