This shot was taken on 07 September 2006 in the evening. Just behind me is the Little Sand Bay dock at the northern tip of Wisconsin. Ahead is Manitou Island of the Apostle Islands.
The water was beautiful here. Cold, but calm. I spent most of the next day on Oak island due to 40 knot gusts and waves at six to eight feet.
